This summer program is a once in a lifetime opportunity for students to gain cultural insight and build Spanish language skills through immersion

by living and breathing the life of the madrileños.

PROGRAM INFORMATION

COST: $ 2,789


COURSES OFFERED:

SPAN 102 - Prof. Zabaleta

SPAN 201 - Prof. Schoenbrun-Fernandez

Students make take one course for 5 units. Classes take place Monday - Thursday.

Approximately 3.5 hours during the morning and early afternoon.

The first two weeks of instruction take place completely online.


INCLUDES: 

  • Classes at the Facultad de Educación of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid
  • Air-conditioned housing at Colegio Mayor SEPI (residence). Limited host families available.

         Homestay option upon request

  • Use of facilities at the Colegio Mayor, such as the swimming pool
  • Three meals per day
  • Pre-departure orientation and services
  • One-day Excursions to 1) Toledo and 2) Segovia
  • Guided Tours and cultural visits around Madrid during week day afternoons.

         Palacio Real

  • Airport pick-up on arrival day, June 25 (during the established window of time)
  • Return transportation arranged (for students leaving as a group at a pre-determined time)
  • On-site orientation
  • 24/7 MLSA staff on-site
  • Public Transportation Pass


NOT INCLUDED:
Non-refundable $100 registration fee to MLSA, Mesa College tuition ($46/per unit); books;

roundtrip airfare; airport taxes if applicable; persona effects insurance and expenses;

optional excursion to running of the bulls in Pamplona (sponsored by MLSA) or other trips.
