To Spanish teachers offering the National Spanish Exam and interested in studying in Spain or Costa Rica in the summer of 2008 with MLSA. Check www.nationalspanishexam.org for requirements and further information.

Scholarships for university students
Requirements:
1. Be pursuing minor/major in Spanish; interested in studying in Spain or Costa Rica
2. Write an essay "Why I am interested in studying abroad"
3. You must be accepted in the MLSA programs
4. Have a 3.30 GPA
5. Send an official college transcript
6. A letter of recommendation from one of your Spanish teachers.
Students are encouraged to apply for the scholarships as soon as they send the application to participate in the programs.

Scholarships for Spanish teachers
Requirements:
Take at least 8 university students to Spain or Costa Rica or 8 high school seniors or graduate seniors ( in Spain only), interested in taking courses for college credit.

MLSA will confirm in writing your acceptance into the program within two weeks after we receive your application.
